Clear vellum, mixed media paper, t-pins

This project uses IOGraph to record and visualize my mouse movements over a seven-day period, transforming everyday internet use into a series of layered maps. Each recording captures a moment of interaction within the same digital environment, yet no two paths are identical. Printed on transparent paper and overlaid, the drawings reveal my habits and interaction with the digital space.

Through this project I explore how intangible digital environments are shaped by personal user behavior. The layered transparencies allow individual sessions to interact with one another, highlighting how familiarity does not result in sameness. Instead, the project reveals how attention, choice, and movement continuously reshape digital space.

Each instance sitting in front of my computer was printed on to a single sheet of vellum. These instances were arranged by day, starting with Sunday and ending with Saturday. Lines represent where my cursor followed, and circles represent where the cursor was resting.
