I carry a lot of trauma, and often struggle to put into
words exactly what I’m feeling or experiencing. Much
of what I carry is complex, layered, and difficult to
explain through language alone. Through this selection
of photography and collage I’m able to show some of
this trauma without the entire context. A way for me to
express myself without giving away too much.
Through capturing moments in time, I’m able to visually
represent the stress, tension, and quiet weight that
exists beneath the surface. Rather than offering clear
answers, my work invites reflection. It acknowledges
that healing is not linear and that some experiences are
better felt than explained.
